Have you ever been bitten by an elephant?

IMG_20250814_131243_536

Now, that's a funny question! The odds are very small that you've ever been bitten by an elephant. Now another question. Have you ever been bitten by a mosquito? The chances are high that you've been bitten by a mosquito before.

We can learn an amazing lesson from these two questions. It's not always the big things in life that bite us, but the little things. And in the end, all those little things add up to something big. Little things can be: not getting enough sleep, eating that extra sweet doughnut every day, paying for a monthly subscription that you no longer use, or not exercising.

3 things to think about.

  1. What are your little mosquitoes?
  2. What mosquitoes are you planning to activate that looks like needs?
  3. Be constantly on the lookout for mosquitoes.

Have a great week!

Your first ANYTHING will be bad

The master of anything was once a beginner. Your first workout might be bad. Your first speech might be bad; your first podcast might be bad. Your first attempt at almost anything will be bad. You must first learn to crawl before you can walk.

There is a huge lesson in this. You never gave up when you fell down while learning to walk. So why do you want to give up so easily now?

Perhaps people labelled you and over time, you accepted that label as your own. Well, it's time to break free. You didn't give up when you were learning to walk - so why give up now. Now is your time to get going!

3 things to think deeply about this week:

  • You can't win if you quit
  • What will be the next adventure you decide to start?
  • Get coaching in any field, and you will progress faster.

Have an awesome week.

Prime the pump.

A classic and excellent short clip by Zig Ziglar is named "Prime the pump".

You can't expect to be rewarded before the work is done. You have to keep pumping - studying, growing, attending, writing etc. Once the water starts flowing, you only need a steady rhythm to keep it flowing.

3 things to think about this week

  • keep pumping - intensity in the beginning; consistency in the future
  • Start exploring a completely new field. New opportunities are often found in places you have never looked before.
  • You might be standing on acres of diamonds while searching for them far away. sometimes the opportunity you are looking for is already right in front of you.

Go out and make a difference!

What is your daily routine?

The current image has no alternative text. The file name is: IMG_20250814_131243_536-1-e1784260616607.webp

Oh yes, a daily routine will put you miles ahead of the pack.

You can't always control what happens to you during the day, but you can control how the day starts and ends. A routine doesn't need to be 2 hours long - it depends on your available time. Fifteen to thirty minutes might be just the start you need.

Here are a few options that you can implement in your routine.

  • Reading
  • Praying
  • Stretching/ exercising
  • Planning your day
  • Journaling

Build your own daily routine and stick to it.

3 things to think about:

  • A daily routine will give you direction.
  • Either you run the day, or the day runs you.
  • Having a routine will put you in the 1% bracket of the most successful people in the world.

Have a great week.

The day you grow up is when…

The day you grow up is the day you accept that your life is your responsibility - the good, the bad, your habits, and your future - that's the day you grow up. It is not about age - it's about ownership.

3 things to think about:

  • Don't play the blame game - that is the easiest thing to do - blame people, your upbringing, circumstances etc.
  • Don't let excuses steal your future - ask yourself: "What can I do differently?"
  • Responsibility equals freedom - it's the foundation of a life you design on your own terms. It moves you from being a passenger to being the driver.

Have an awesome week!
