Goal setting

I once heard Anthony Robbins say “Never leave the site of setting a goal, without doing something towards its attainment.” That really hit me hard. How many goals have you set before that you did not do anything IMMEDIATLY to make that goal/dream come true?

You don’t need huge strides – just an inch forward – little by little the path will appear. It might be just a phone call, or to write that first page of the book, or to e-mail a friend. Nothing huge, but take action before you leave the site of setting that goal.

  1. Action creates momentum and momentum moves you closer towards your goals.
  2. By doing something right away you turn intension into commitment.
  3. Every big achievement start with a first step, taken quickly.

So make sure when you set a goal to ask yourself “What can I do right now – today – within the next minute?”
