I once heard Anthony Robbins say “Never leave the site of setting a goal, without doing something towards its attainment.” That really hit me hard. How many goals have you set before that you did not do anything IMMEDIATLY to make that goal/dream come true?
You don’t need huge strides – just an inch forward – little by little the path will appear. It might be just a phone call, or to write that first page of the book, or to e-mail a friend. Nothing huge, but take action before you leave the site of setting that goal.
- Action creates momentum and momentum moves you closer towards your goals.
- By doing something right away you turn intension into commitment.
- Every big achievement start with a first step, taken quickly.
So make sure when you set a goal to ask yourself “What can I do right now – today – within the next minute?”
